ThinkTank

is being free from sadness equivalent to happiness or is it just monotony?

is worrying a kind of pessimism or is it a kind of care and concern of an optimist?

is it identity that we are searching or is it because we are so at loss that we create an unknown to feel a little more secured?

Happy New Year!!!

heh. of cos not sad does not imply happy. you can still feel bored, angry, wistful, etc. feelings are too varied to be put on a single continuum.

and your last qn on identity is sth that i have also spent much time pondering over. what is an identity and why do we need one? it appears that you are no closer to an answer.

monotony. it doesn't remove source of sadness; it just gives us another avenue.

care and concern of an optimist definitely. who doesn't worry? that's being naive.

i think we're lost.

oh wells. happy new year=)

i would say it's monotony..
care and concern of an optimist.. hmm but i guess it's pretty different when u're talking about worrying for others and worrying about urself? definitely care and concern if u're worried about others.

i hope to find my own identity but am a little lost too.
